Kid Fourteen (LB) & The Lunacy Of Flowers (UK)

Kid Fourteen is the musical identity of Lebanese-born, Paris-based musician Khodor Ellaik. Emerging from Beirut’s independent scenes before relocating to Paris, his work has shifted through different forms: Synth Pop, guitar-driven noise, beat-centered structures, ambient textures, and moments shaped by saxophone or fragments of Arabic poetry. Across all of these changes, the through-line has remained the same: a focus on voice, presence, and emotional precision.

His debut album Dream Kids Never Sleep was an Experimental Pop record released in 2016 on the Lebanese label Ruptured. Two years later after inviting Xiu Xiu to play in Beirut, a collaboration with Jamie Stewart directed Kid Fourteen to the UK label Bad Paintings where he released his second Noise Rock album Blood-thick Silence in 2018. Khodor toured extensively between 2016 and 2019, and by 2020 he had recorded, arranged, mixed, and mastered his Synth/Electro/Pop album Love which was released on his own label Kidsplay. He moved to Paris in 2022, where he released his cathartic 4th studio album A Brief Emotional Dragon in 2023, drawing inspiration from Westerns and Japanese Synth music. His latest instrumental album Heart is a Malady, released in 2024, is a sonic exploration of Arabic poetry. His upcoming synth pop record Far Away and Well Adjusted is set for release in 2026.

The Lunacy Of Flowers is a music maker that orbits around the unlit. Inspired by late 70s/early 80’s post punk, industrial music, lunacy, flowers and soley working on his own, he creates spells with live electronics but adds a soulful human element that makes his sound hard to ignore. Mostly visceral and darkly attractive.
